Short 4-sided needles. The underside of the needles are usually a dull silvery blue. The combination of form, needle retention, dark blue-green color, and pleasant scent has led to Fraser fir being the most popular Christmas tree species.This tree is excellent for transplanting

 

Blue Spruce

Short 4-sided needle with a sharp point at the end. Needles are generally dull bluish-gray to silvery blue and emit a resinous odor when crushed. Some trees have a more distinct bluish-white or silvery-white foliage. Suitable for transplanting.

 

 Douglas Fir

Shorter 4-sided needles with sharp points at the end. A real "old-fashioned Christmas Tree." Suitable for transplanting
