Classroom in the Corn

Our field trip is second to none....bring your class to our farm for an experience your students won't soon forget!

When you arrive, you will be greeted by our staff and broken into smaller groups.  Each group will enjoy one of our stations...

Cornmaze-Students will use their map reading skills to help navigate our maze and be challenged to trivia throughout the maze.

Pumpkin Patch-Students will board our wagons and go for a hayride through our woods and farm to the pumpkin patch.  Who knows what kind of nature they may encounter!  Once at the patch, students will see a variety of pumpkins, see how pumpkins grow, and have the opportunity to pick their very own pumpkin to take home.

Barn-Students will watch a short story about Spookley, the Square Pumpkin.  If you haven't heard about Spookley (click to get to Spookley's Teacher Toolkit), he helps teach bullying prevention.  In our barn, we also offer small gifts and a few items in our snack shop.

Play Yard-Students will practice their social skills and taking turns here.  We offer giant hay bales to play on, a corn box (like a sand box, but so much more fun-try putting your feet in for a foot massage!), giant checkers, ducky races, pumpkin bowling, and more!  This is also the perfect place for lunch!

Field Trips usually take about 2 hours--plan on a little longer if you are staying for lunch.

Pricing is $6.00 per student.  There is no charge for teachers and chaperones. Chaperones may purchase a small pumpkin for $1.
